These are some really great resources for the Social Studies classes at San Marcos High School:
- ABC-Clio databases (also available from the SMHS library web page) have primary sources (photos, documents,cartoon, maps) as well as general information on world history, U.S. history, and American government. Use the user name and passwords provided by the school.

- Revolutions: French Revolution (includes many primary sources), Mexonline has a short article on the Mexican Revolution, Yale University's site on the Industrial Revolution, Mao's Chinese Revolution, Fordham University's site on the Russian Revolution,
- Cold War: CNN has a good site that goes with their mini-series;
- Current/Kind-of-Current Issues: Conflict in Israel/Palestine, South African Apartheid,
- Mexican-American History: a site with links to many databases, the University of Houston has good background information,
